I came here to comment about the focaccia recipe (since we were chatting elsewhere about it) but actually there are so many Melissa Clark recommendations in the comments that I keep clicking out!
I’ve never had a bad Melissa Clark dinner! Her roasted cauliflower and sausage sheet pan dinner from her (very missed) podcast with The Splendid Table….a winter staple!
Melissa Clark's recipes are in my kitchen all the time because we share a love for the Instant Pot. (And I love her recipe for Instant Pot Cuban pork!) I also love The Dinner Plan!
I checked this out of the library (I try to do that before I buy anything new to make sure I would actually cook from it) and I loved it … would love to win a copy!
Chickpea dish looks good…are you really able to get the chickpeas crispy? The cookbook recipe list looks really good…in my youth I would take and read cookbooks in bed. As an adult I’m always looking for one pot meals that makes lots so we have dinner and leftovers for dinner in the freezer.
Our long term favorite is Pancho’s green chili stew served with home made Mexican rice in the bowl.
I’ve checked that one out from the library as well. Love one pot meals for fewer dishes!
would love to win!!

Love this! I definitely want to try out some of the recipes
The inspo I needed today! I have some red lentils I’ve been wanting to use up!
I have heard from so many people who looooove that soup, so it seems like a great way to go!
I'm freezing and on it!
I am very much an “everyone out of the kitchen!” Weeknight cook.
This post is a treasure trove of links to great recipes!
The brown butter skillet cornbread is unrivaled. Everyone always asks for the recipe when I make it!
Dinner in French is one of my favorite cookbooks when I want to make an “elevated” dinner. Every recipe has been delicious without much fuss.

Oooh, I gotta track down that recipe!
Enjoy!

Clicking over to the library website as we speak. Love a good book list!

Libraries are such a great resource for cookbooks!!!

Her Dinner in an Instant has some great pressure cooker recipes - the Farro Pilaf with Spiced Cauliflower, Pine nuts and raisins is a favorite
Oooh that sounds amazing, thanks for the tip Tamara!
Melissa’s enthusiasm about dinner, sheet pans , ingredients, anything food-related is infectious!
agreed!
