I bought Anyday containers when they first came out - the frosted ones with teal lids. Love them. Now I see the clear ones and am trying to figure out how I will make room for them in my kitchen - what pots or pans do I donate?
I’ve been doing lots of cold noodles, especially Korean soy sauce noodles when I’m eating at the same time as my 3-year-old (but I like the spicy ones too)
Ooo! I need to get out my copy of Salad Freak—thank you for the reminder! This is the best season for all of my veg-focused cookbooks, and I rarely remember to go through them while I'm meal planning.
I have a very simple one that a friend shared with me—maybe I'll put it in my next Substack? It's made with tortellini and summer veggies and some cold cuts and then tossed in Olive Garden Italian dressing; ridiculously easy!
also love pasta salad in the summer. My go-to is Alison Roman's pasta salad with zucchini, sizzled scallions, and parmesan (googleble from her newsletter). Perhaps not drop dead simple but by no means difficult.
Love this roundup! Now if it would only warm up here in the Bay to justify a cold soup...! Ha!
Green goddess corn on the cob is so beautiful!!! Have you seen the one by Carolina Gelen?

So much good inspiration here! I’ve been loving Ali Slagle’s orzo salad with lentils and zucchini 🤤
I need all the low lift summer meal ideas I can get!
This is making me hungry!!!!

Great list! My family is all about pasta salad this summer (honestly that’s us every summer). Specifically this one https://thenewfamilytable.substack.com/p/trader-joes-recipe-pizza-ranch-pasta-salad
Something about pasta salad is just perfect!
I want to eat all of these!
